Wendall J. and Myrna J. Olson Student Assistance Scholarship

Eligibility

• Must be an active member in good standing at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, Missouri;
• Must be a graduating high school senior; a part-time or full-time student in good academic standing at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri, University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, any Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod affiliated post-secondary institution located in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Arkansas, Minnesota, Nebraska or Indiana; or any vocational training institution in Missouri;
• Must demonstrate good character, leadership and service.

Award Amount

Up to $1,000 per academic year.

Renewable

Yes, this scholarship can be renewed for three additional years of funding. A renewal application must be submitted with proof of continuing college enrollment and a minimum college cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Deadline

Applications must be submitted by March 15.
