Norman and Mary Anne Davidson Scholarship

Eligibility

• Must be a resident of Independence, MO;
• Must be pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees or certification programs with college credit;
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0;
• Must have demonstrated financial need;
• Must have demonstrated participation in work, caregiving responsibilities, school activities, and/or community service;
• Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Award Amount

Up to $8,000 per academic year.

Renewable

Yes, this scholarship is renewable for up to four additional years. An annual renewal application must be submitted with proof of continuing college enrollment and a minimum college cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Deadline

The General Application for the 2026-2027 cycle will be available December 1, 2025 and due February 16, 2026 (including any requirements listed below).

Requirements

• Transcripts showing grades from Fall Semester 2025. Any applications submitted with transcripts omitting Fall Semester 2025 will not be considered.
• Letter of reference.
