The Jay McNamara Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2020 by the McNamara family to provide scholarships to students attending St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School in Lee’s Summit, MO. Jay McNamara had a passion for life, and his generous heart touched so many. At the early age of 43, Jay passed away from coronary artery disease that had gone undiagnosed. Jay was a 1993 graduate of Archbishop O’Hara High School. His family and friends want to continue to honor Jay’s legacy of love through this scholarship.
Eligibility
- • Must be enrolled in St. Michael the Archangel High School in Lee’s Summit for the following school year
Award Amount
Up to $1,000 per academic year.
Renewable
Not a renewable scholarship. Previous recipients may apply again.
Deadline
Applications must be submitted by April 1. Completed applications can be emailed to watkins@thcf.org.
